OVERVIEW OF PROFILES

Human Design & Gene Keys – Profiles

In Human Design, your profile consists of two numbers (e.g. 1/3 or 2/4), each representing a line from the I Ching hexagram. These two numbers offer deep insight into your role in life, how you learn, how you relate to others, and how you move through your life path.

The first number (before the slash) is linked to your conscious personality – the part of yourself you usually recognize. The second number (after the slash) represents your unconscious side – the part others often see in you, but which you may not always be fully aware of. Together, they form your unique “character type,” and each profile tells a story about how you are designed to move through life, what you are here to learn, and how you can best work with your energy and inner wisdom.

The Link to the Gene Keys
These two numbers also appear in the Gene Keys, where they are part of the decimal in your Life’s Work and Purpose – for example, Gene Key 48.6 or 29.3. Here, they show how you uniquely express the theme of your Gene Key. Your profile in Human Design not only gives insight into how you move through life, but also into how you carry and activate your inner keys through the journey of consciousness.

This overview invites you to explore your own profile and discover how your specific combination of lines creates a unique imprint and a personal calling in this world. Each profile holds both gifts and challenges – and none are better than others.
