I often sense quite quickly which stories lie beneath the surface and shape your life. These may be stories deeply rooted in your family line, or experiences your soul carries from past lives. What’s fascinating is that the body, mind, and soul remember… and they remember everything we try to deny or forget. So — are you ready to embark on the journey inward?
In the first seven years of our lives, we function primarily in Theta brainwaves. These years are when our learning curve is steepest. We learn to walk, to feed ourselves, to use the toilet. We acquire language, empathy, and so much more. In other words, during these early years, our brain acts like a sponge. We absorb every piece of information we possibly can. This is the time when we lay the foundation of our lives — and form our core beliefs.
Yet those first seven years are not the whole story. You can actually trace your patterns all the way back to conception — and even nine months before that. You felt how your mother was doing while she was pregnant. You would even be able to sense whether there were others in her womb before you came along — both those who remained and those who were lost. All of this leaves imprints in you and creates patterns that you most likely are not consciously aware of. Isn’t it time to release these patterns — so you can allow yourself to live your life guided by beliefs that truly serve you?
As a child, I learned to make space for others. I learned to see other people’s pain and at the same time stay strong in myself — although, truthfully, the latter didn’t always succeed. In recent years, I have spent much time understanding my own story. I grew up on a farm north of Silkeborg with my mother, father, and two older brothers. We also had a large group of foster children in our family. When I was 11 years old, I lost my beloved foster little brother, and from that moment, I closed my heart to deep, unconditional love. As it turned out, this loss became part of a bigger plan, helping shape the path of my life. For many years, I buried my heart behind walls of unprocessed emotions, and whenever potential partners came too close, I pushed them away. This became a pattern — and a way to survive.
It wasn’t until I broke down in December 2007 that I realized there was no more space left in my body. From that point on, my journey back to my heart began — and back to deep love. Have I arrived? Yes, I have. And yet, I remain — and always will be — curious about the deeper layers. My desire to explore them will never fade.
